The three main objectives of Acupuncture
include:
• Relieve pain and other symptoms.
• Strengthen the immune system.
• Restore balance and harmony of the Qi in the body, making
for a unified, healthy person.
During the interview and based on the diagnosis, the acupuncturist
will discuss your physical condition and any concerns you may have
about the acupuncture treatment. The treatment will start after
the interview has been completed. Acupuncture needles are very fine
and are considered to be relatively painless when inserted by a
skilled practitioner. People often comment that the feeling is unfamiliar
but pleasant and relaxing. All needles used in our clinic are disposable.
This means that only sterile needles are used on a patient, and
each needle is only used once. Afterwards, the needles are discarded.
